What can I expect on the day?
Plenty of space for open gaming, a well stocked board games library provided by Dice & Pins, scheudled sessions for TTRPG’s and Blood on the Clocktower, plus special guests and live peforamnces.
How accessible will the day be?
External access to the building is available through ramps – at the Nelson Street side of the building, to the lower ground floor (Chamber Theatre and Studio) – and at the Sankey Street side of the building, to the ground floor (Gallery).
An accessible lift connects to all six floors, and wheelchair accessible toilets and internal ramps render all levels fully physically accessible.
There will be mobility aid spaces available in the theatre for any shows being performed.
We will also be providing a quiet space, available to everyone to make use of as and when required.
There are single occupancy and accessible toilets on all floors, and have asked any that have gender identifiers we saw to be gender neutral for the event.
Anybody requiring a carer to attend on the day, we will be providing free carers tickets when tickets are released.
Please email us on hello@liverpoolgaymesfair.co.uk ahead of the event, or reach out to a member of staff on the day should you have any further queries regarding accessibility options.
Please also visit the Black-E’s on page on accesibility on their website here.
I have a carer would they be able to accompany me?
Absolutely they are welcome! It is important to us that everyone feels included on the day. We have allocated a small quantity of specialised tickets for our wonderful carers of attendees. We ask on a trust basis that these are only acquired by actual carers. If you have any specific requirements please feel free to contact us at hello@liverpoolgaymesfair.co.uk.
Are allies welcome to this event?
Yes! Allies are welcome to this event. As Pride Event UK helpfully put it, “it is important to be open-minded and accepting while remembering the true meaning behind these events and spaces”.
We want people to come who will embrace the community, safety and meaning of the day. Help us create a truely wonderful celebration in queer gaming.
“Respect, accept, and connect.”
Will children be welcome?
Children are indeed welcome at Liverpool Gaymes Fair. Children aged 7 or under can enter with a free ticket, and all guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

The Black-E is located right on Nelson Street; home to Liverpool’s Chinatown and its wonderful selection of restaurants including North Garden, New Capital and The Bagelry.
